Contexte

arrow_rightThe project: Maintaining optimum temperature and humidity conditions for equipment in the tunnel's technical rooms.

To ensure the safety of trains in the tunnel, it is essential that information systems function properly during the journey. It is therefore essential to maintain acceptable temperature and humidity conditions for this equipment, located in the technical rooms throughout the tunnel, to be operational. The main objective was therefore to design reliable, long-lasting air-conditioning solutions, easy to maintain to limit and optimize maintenance, and adaptable to the available and constrained space in these premises.

CAP2i was selected for its ability to provide technical proposals and to respond perfectly to the specific needs of the project.

arrow_rightWe therefore designed cooling and dehumidification systems in which the majority of components are similar and interchangeable in terms of size and required performance, thus facilitating maintenance for years to come. A long-term solution to the issue of refrigerants has also been planned, with a "hybrid" solution compatible with dual HFC/HFO fluids.

  • Simplified installation of water-cooledmonobloc air-conditioning units.
  • Use of R513A refrigerant (gwp: 631) with the option of retrofitting to R1234yf (gwp: 4), supplied with a leak detector.
  • Electromechanical electrical cabinet design, more robust and easily accessible for use.
