Air quality issues
Thermal conditioning for the healthcare sector faces many challenges. Some of the most common challenges include:
Rules to be respected according to risk
Standard NF S 90-351 sets out the rules for ensuring air quality in sensitive areas of healthcare establishments. It classifies these areas into four risk categories (4, 3, 2, 1) according to the level of possible contamination.
For each project involving the construction, renovation or modification of a healthcare facility, the CLIN is responsible for assessing and determining the specific risk class for each zone. This assessment is used to define the performance requirements for air treatment systems (filtration, ventilation, dehumidification, etc.).
Customized air handling solutions
Airborne particles, whether of biological (bacteria, viruses) or chemical (cleaning products, medicines) origin, must be minimized by means of precise filtration and efficient air renewal systems.
Too high a humidity level encourages the growth of micro-organisms, while too low a level can dry out mucous membranes. Humidifying and dehumidifying functions can therefore be integrated into our systems.
Defined, precise, automated management of room temperature in relation to outside temperature, to improve the overall health of patients and nursing staff.
