USE CASE
RBM Season 3
Nuclear Sector Sales Manager
"CAP2i took part in a high-stakes national project involving the creation of storage facilities requiring safety-classified air-conditioning units meeting various requirements such as seismic resistance, shock waves, projectiles and extreme temperature conditions."
Contexte
The challenge: To design air handling systems capable of maintaining the temperature of a nuclear scrap storage area, while complying with the most stringent safety standards and very tight deadlines (12 months).
Our solution: Direct-expansion air-conditioning cabinets with remote air-condenser, custom-designed to meet the customer's specific requirements. This equipment is :
- High-performance: Capable of operating at temperatures of up to 68°C, they guarantee optimum thermal regulation.
- Robust: Qualified to withstand level 4g earthquakes, extreme weather (snow, wind, tornado, etc.) and shock waves.
- Modular: We developed 20, 50 and 80 kW models to adapt to Orano's different configurations and requirements.
A complex project, requiring the design of safety-classified equipment: This involves rigorous document management, environmental qualifications and regular inspections.
