"The collaboration between Cap2i and the Château d'Amboise is a perfect illustration of Cap2i's expertise in designing tailor-made air handling solutions for heritage sites."
Contexte
From June 1 to September 22, 2024, the Château Royal d'Amboise hosted an exhibition devoted to the works of art of Leonardo da Vinci. To achieve this, they called on us to : Precisely regulate air temperature and humidity to ensure optimal conservation of these esteemed masterpieces.
The great hall of the Château d'Amboise, which served as the setting for the exhibition, had a partitioned space 2.75 m high and a specific architecture. This required the design of a compact, adaptable air handling solution. What's more, as the exhibition was short-lived, the system had to be easy to install and dismantle.
To meet these requirements, Cap2i developed a direct-expansion air-handling unit perfectly suited to the needs of the Château d'Amboise. This solution has three main features:
- Stand-alone: the system is ready to use (plug & play)
- Monobloc: Custom-built to fit perfectly into the dedicated space
- Mobile: easily transportable on 4 wheels
