Cap2i supports a reforestation program in Indonesia

Concerned about our environmental impact, Cap2i is involved with Business4Earth in a reforestation program in the Mahakam Strait in Indonesia. We participate in a mangrove plantation project which has a very high CO2 capture capacity, ranging from 3 to 10 times that of a tree, grows faster and does not need to be watered.

Moreover, the mangrove serves as a real "nursery" for fish, shrimps and crabs: it thus favors the abundance of underwater life and offers more food security to local families. Finally, it acts as a barrier against extreme climatic events (storms and tsunamis), thus reducing the risks of flooding.

Cap2i is committed to planting the equivalent of 40 trees for each new deal signed. In this way we compensate for 25% of the average carbon impact linked to the manufacture and use of our equipment.

In the continuity of this approach, Cap2i perpetually innovates in high technology solutions responding to the challenges of the ecological and energy transition. We support the use of new HFO refrigerants which are less polluting for the environment and develop eco-responsible equipment which favours energy recovery and energy savings.

Cap2i is proud to be part of the Business4earth community and to contribute to the reforestation of the planet.
